Day 1

We will meet at 1600 in the Hotel for a Safety briefing, introductions followed by a swim in the Bay for you to become acclimatised and for us to put you in to groups according to ability.

Day 2

Today is a day when you take to the water and get used to your surroundings and the swimmers in your group. Your swim will be 2 hours in with a 1 hour break and a further 2 hours in, giving you a total of 4 swimming hours. For relay swimmers this will be 1 hour swim with a 2 hour break then a further 1 hour swim.

There will be a seminar early evening.

Day 3

We move on from the swim achieved yesterday to one of 3 hours in, 1 hour out and a final swim of 2 hours, this will give you a total of 5 hours swimming. For relay swimmers this will be 2 hours in, 2 hours out then a further 1 hour.

Day 4

This is the day everyone has been looking forward to, a straight 6 hour Coastal swim, for those wishing to swim the English Channel this can be used as your ‘qualifying swim’. There will be three safety boats and nutritional drinks throughout. For relay swimmers this will be 2 hours, 2 hours out then a further 2 hours.

Day 5

After the previous two days of swimming you can enjoy a swim in the morning of up to 3 hours followed by an afternoon of fun activities.
This evening will see a question and answer session covering the topics you wish to discuss, a night swim followed by one final dinner together as a group.

Day 6

One final swim of approx. 1 hour in the Bay prior to the swimmers departing.

For safety reasons we might have to swap days around due to the weather and sea conditions but we aim to work to the itinerary as far as is practical.
